The Orthodox Church is a treasure that becomes irresistible when one finds it and begins to discover what lies within. Within is the beauty and depth and timelessness of her Tradition that began with the Lord Himself and His holy Apostles. Within the Church, we discover and experience true liturgical worship with fellow believers, the grace of the Holy Sacraments, and we develop a life of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. In the Orthodox Church we find the authentic Christian understanding of right relationships: ourselves with God, between fellow human beings, between husband and wife, and between God, man and nature that is so very much needed in our world today.
Holy Ascension is a young and growing mission in the Diocese of the West of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). The Orthodox Church in America is the autocephalous Orthodox Church in this country, belonging to the worldwide communion of Orthodox Churches.
We have recently moved into our own place of worship and are now able to have fellowship, classes and events. Please come, visit, and worship with us.
